High Quality Gate Systems at Missouri Door and Dock

At Missouri Door and Dock, we sell the highest quality products and pride ourselves on our knowledgeable staff. Our gate systems can be controlled from anywhere with access to the internet. In addition to several LiftMaster gate openers, we currently offer four different gate styles, as well as custom manufactured gate systems.

Swing

Swing gates are a great option for people who want little to do with their gate after installation, as they are typically the most maintenance free type of gate. They offer an elegant, welcoming look that most other gate types lack. A double swing gate takes up less driveway space than a single and puts less stress on the motor and hinges, lengthening the gate’s lifespan.

Cantilever

Cantilever gates move in one direction, usually along the fence line of an existing fence. Although a Cantilever gate is 50% larger than the gate opening, it has many advantages over a swing gate. These gates are safer and less expensive than a double swing gate. Additionally, the path a Cantilever gate travels is much easier to keep clear of snow and debris than a swing gate.

Slide

A slide gate consists of one wheel near the gate opening, on which the gate rests, and two wheels on the opposite side, that sit on separate pipes or “tracks”. These two wheels are responsible for the opening and closing of the gate. Unlike the Cantilever gate, a slide gate is only the size of the gate opening, making it ideal for locations with limited space.

Vertical Lift

A vertical lift gate is the ultimate space saver. If you need a gate but don’t necessarily have the space for it to slide or swing open, what better way to go than up? While Vertical Lift gates may be more expensive, they are a great solution when the terrain around a gate presents a challenge for a gate to swing or slide open.
